双电源切换柜顾名思义它有两路电源进线，一般多用于低压配电柜。主供电源一般是市电，是从变压器过来的；备供电源一般是从柴油发电机供过来的。工作时，通过一个控制器来实现主供和备供的转换：主供有电时，控制器自动合上主供回路，即靠变压器供电；当主供失电时，控制器会给发电机组一个启动信号让发动机工作供电，这时备供回路就会带电，双电源就会自动分开主供，和上备供。当主供市电恢复供电时再会分开备供合上主供，控制器再给发电机组信号让其停止。其实这就是我们平时说的双电源的“自投自复”功能。
