张大千(1899～1983年)，原名正权，后改名爰(yuán)，字季爰，号大千，别号大千居士、下里巴人，斋名大风堂。 张大千是二十世纪中国画坛传奇色彩的国画大师，无论是绘画、书法、篆刻、诗词都无所不通。早期专心研习古人书画，特别在山水画方面卓有成就。后旅居海外，画风工写结合，重彩、水墨融为一体，尤其是泼墨与泼彩，开创了新的艺术风格。上世纪30年代，他曾两度执教于南京大学（时称中央大学），担任艺术系教授。他在亚、欧、美举办了大量画展，蜚声国际，被誉为“当今最负盛名之国画大师”，仿古画作可以乱真，“骗”过不少鉴别大师。徐悲鸿说过：“张大千，五百年来第一人。”
