《无线电法》要求，对指定的无线电设备进行型号核准（即技术法规符合性认证）。认证是强制性的，认证机构为mic在指定无线电设备范围认可的注册认证机构。telec（telecomengineeringcenter）是日本无线电设备符合性认证的主要的注册认证机构。
(1) telec认证标准
认证的技术标准参见其上技术法规符合性认证系统中的所列出的指定无线电设备的分类和技术标准。值得注意的是，这些技术标准与《无线电法规》（radio regulatory commission rulesno.18）的技术要求有差异时，以《无线电法规》为准。
(2) 认证类型)
telec认证包括测试认证（test certification）和型式认证（typecertification）。测试认证是针对每一个设备单元进行验证，该认证只对每一个经过了验证的设备单元有效；
